President Obama announces December jobs summit

Before President Obama left for a tour of Asia last week, he announced that “in December, we’ll be holding a forum at the White House on jobs and economic growth.”

Obama said plans include gathering CEOs and small business owners and economic/financial experts to "…talk about how we can work together to create jobs and to get this economy moving again.”  He also said that representatives from labor unions and nonprofits will be invited to participate in the forum.
