VETS-100 and VETS-100A Reports
For contracts entered into or modified on or after December 1, 2003
Who must file a VETS-100A Report? The VETS-100A Report must be filed by all nonexempt federal contractors and subcontractors with contracts or subcontracts for the furnishing of supplies and services to the government, or who have the use of real or personal property belonging to the government, whose total yearly amount equals $100,000 or more.
When is the VETS-100A Report filed? September 30 of each year. Reporting on the VETS-100A form is anticipated to take effect for calendar year 2008, which is reported on September 30, 2009.
What regulation establishes the reporting requirement? The VETS-100A Report is required under 41 CFR 61-300.10.

For contracts entered into both prior to and on or after December 1, 2003
Any contractor or subcotractor who has both a contract subject to part 61-250 (i.e., a contract for $25,000 or more entered into prior to December 1, 2003) and a contract subject to part 61-300 (i.e,. a contract for $100,000 entered into or modified on or after December 1, 2003) must file both the VETS-100 Report and the VETS-100A Report.
